Doni das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ismael Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Gentza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Flores da Cunha - RS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
