With a little luck, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Jefferson Oliveira got control of the ball when Walmir Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmir Pombal got free with Jefferson Oliveira in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Walmir Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Oliveira. Hartmann Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmir Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11thth minute of the game Carlos Alberto Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hartmann Futebol Clube's Jefferson Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Jefferson Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto Soares. If Wiktor Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jefferson Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Pombal in the 21st minute of play. Evaristo de Souza took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson Oliveira. Jefferson Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Walmir Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jefferson Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Catugi FC were awarded a corner. Erik Sanches went to the cornerflag to take it. After 36 minutes Hartmann Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Sanches who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Catugi FC's corner Erik Sanches fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jefferson Oliveira quite easily take care of the ball. Jefferson Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Soares in the 37th minute of the match. Jefferson Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Pombal in the 38th minute of play. Paulo Gaizkine came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hartmann Futebol Clube's Svante Magnusson. But to his dismay, Svante Magnusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Paulo Gaizkine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Askelöf in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto Soares was the one to do the kick off. Wiktor Askelöf was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Hartmann Futebol Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 61 played minutes Hartmann Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Svante Magnusson. Catugi FC's Carlos Alberto Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jefferson Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute Walmir Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Catugi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hartmann Futebol Clube:s goal. The Catugi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Catugi FC's Paulo Gaizkine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Askelöf in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Svante Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Catugi FC had won after a very even match.
