After 9 minutes Grêmio RK75's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastião Tróia who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cenap İlbilge during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Cenap İlbilge got a free kick in the 10th minute. Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio RK75 from getting a goal against them. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Sebastião Tróia with Arne Stenquist as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some careless play in the Grêmio Bulls defense, Harold Tronconi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique Prata. The Grêmio Bulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Prata should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Harold Tronconi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio RK75's supporters rose to their feet, but Harold Tronconi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Harold Tronconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Lehen in the 34th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper João Francisco Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Francisco Tinoco came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Bulls's Arne Stenquist. But to his dismay, Arne Stenquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Henrique Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold Tronconi in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Tronconi came free, but Henrique Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grêmio RK75's Harold Tronconi pulled a muscle in his leg after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Márcio Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grêmio RK75 made a substitution. Luís Paulo Laguna replaced Harold Tronconi. In the 63rd minute, Luís Paulo Laguna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grêmio Bulls's Mauro Sena was substituted for Arne Stenquist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rowen Doherty in the 66th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper João Francisco Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Grêmio RK75 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tilemachos Fragopoulos hit a great ball. João Francisco Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowen Doherty in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paulo Laguna got free with Henrique Prata in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Paulo Laguna in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Bulls's Geoff Mullen got a free kick in the 75th minute. Henrique Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Paul Hattermann in the 75th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Grêmio RK75's Markus Paul Hattermann made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrique Prata was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Francisco Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowen Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Luís Paulo Laguna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Henrique Prata made a huge save. After having played for 88 minutes, Rowen Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rowen Doherty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Rowen Doherty made a precise shot to the right of João Francisco Tinoco. Grêmio RK75's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
