Doni das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Scheer in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joris Scheer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doni das Neves was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joris Scheer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delfim de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doni das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match S.C.CHUÍ got a corner. TEIXEIRINHA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis León ran over to the corner to take the kick. Derwin Valensuela kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a little luck, TEIXEIRINHA FC's Doni das Neves got control of the ball when Delfim de Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line.
