Nuno Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Catugi FC's Walmir Pombal managed to work through DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Walmir Pombal dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Vicente Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Nuno Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catugi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edson Nascimento ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 70th minute, Samuca Rosado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tension between the DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ and the Catugi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, DALLAS CLUB - FGMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Vargas to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Catugi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
