In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Minuano's Marcel Reis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Fernando Almeida. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the match, Lenílson Peres notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro. Yuri Loureiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Adil Vavasseur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenílson Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Loureiro having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Peres came free, but Yuri Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Febre Amarela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adil Vavasseur in the 38th minute. The corner led Febre Amarela's Adil Vavasseur to fire away a dangerous shot which Yuri Loureiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Reynaldo Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Yuri Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomé Galvão made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alfredinho Aparecido. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Peres in the 47th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Atlético Minuano players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Febre Amarela were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Romero was the one to do the kick off. Luís Fernando Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Piglowski in the 51st minute of the match. Yuri Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Paulo Leão was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of Atlético Minuano booed when Febre Amarela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fernando Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! Febre Amarela's Tomasino Quiroz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tomé Galvão, made in the 84th minute of the game. Alexsandro Cardoso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yuri Loureiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. 91 minutes in the game Alexsandro Cardoso got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The Atlético Minuano supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Febre Amarela's performance. The match ended with a win for Febre Amarela.
