Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aaron Tello kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marvin Salamanca in the 10th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Zézinho Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Matanza and Steelers's Marvin Salamanca made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zézinho Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacek Limanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Lucas in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curt Montes in the 22nd minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Freitas in the 24th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Curt Montes took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Renan Mendes to make any attempt to save it. Marvin Salamanca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Zézinho Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curt Montes got free with Renan Mendes in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes got control of the ball when Florin Susara tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 minutes Matanza and Steelers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florin Susara who took care of the corner kick. Matanza and Steelers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Curt Montes scored to the left of an out of position Renan Mendes, making the score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Renan Mendes. That made the score 3-1 after 45 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Freitas to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marvin Salamanca got free with Zézinho Simões in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's Strahinja Sekulić got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Michael Meertens managed to get in a good position for a shot. MarquinhosEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Meertens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões got control of the ball when César Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when Matanza and Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Susara came free, but Renan Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vágner Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MarquinhosEC's Esteve Quinto was substituted for Mark Kovalev. César Lucas came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zézinho Simões could save by the left post. In the 70th minute of the match Matanza and Steelers got a corner. MarquinhosEC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renan Correia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Renan Correia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões did a great save. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save MarquinhosEC from getting a goal against them. Zézinho Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marvin Salamanca in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Leysus Oktavianus came free, but Zézinho Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matanza and Steelers made a substitution. Wiliam Peixoto replaced César Lucas. After 90 played minutes Matanza and Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Raí Gomes. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MarquinhosEC fully deserved thier win.
