The LOBO 1908 fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when LOBO 1908's Paulão Bezerra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Aparecido in the 17th minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Chiquinho Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes, Marcel Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Minuano and the LOBO 1908 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atlético Minuano's Marcel Reis got a free kick in the 19th minute. LOBO 1908's Chiquinho Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Aparecido in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Paulão Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOBO 1908's Chiquinho Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save LOBO 1908 from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Atlético Minuano getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Teobaldo Turi hit a great ball. When Jeremias Tande came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the LOBO 1908 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Tande couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Paulão Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute of the match, Paulão Bezerra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yuri Loureiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Jurgen Iwens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Paulão Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Bezerra in the 57th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, LOBO 1908's Grisha Mbappè made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grisha Mbappè fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Loureiro having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Ernani Montenegro lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Yuri Loureiro. Atlético Minuano made a substitution. Mathias Ortiz replaced Alfredinho Aparecido. Chiquinho Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Piglowski in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Mathias Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Chiquinho Aparecido. LOBO 1908's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Marcel Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Yuri Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Tande in the 84th minute of play. Chiquinho Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to LOBO 1908 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Yuri Recife hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Mathias Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiquinho Aparecido. LOBO 1908's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.
