ROSÁRIO SPORT's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Andrejević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fang Bing Lei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Trigo during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pistolero Tricolor FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Cláudio Trigo hit a great ball. Armando Bela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luiz Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pistolero Tricolor FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ROSÁRIO SPORT were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernandão Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Fernandão Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pistolero Tricolor FC's Fernandão Trigo managed to work through ROSÁRIO SPORT's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal.
