Antonio Adán made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luiz Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Quintino Carvalhais sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Quintino Carvalhais came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Zigmantas Gimbutas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Corrêa. ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Quintino Carvalhais ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Amado Parente almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa did a great save.
