Luiz Corrêa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Curt Montes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Sten Andrejević got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michael Meertens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luiz Corrêa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luiz Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curt Montes in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Freitas in the 19th minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Luiz Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Andrejević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zézinho Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Andrejević in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Sten Andrejević nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zézinho Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ROSÁRIO SPORT from getting a goal against them. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Andrejević in the 32nd minute of play. ROSÁRIO SPORT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dean Harvey in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dean Harvey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zézinho Simões quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sten Andrejević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zézinho Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by MarquinhosEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dean Harvey was slow to take the kick. During this time ROSÁRIO SPORT's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on ROSÁRIO SPORT's corner Dean Harvey fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zézinho Simões quite easily take care of the ball. In the 43rd match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Félix to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Dean Harvey. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Andrejević to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Meertens in the 51st minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Luiz Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rdth minute of the game Curt Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curt Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Sten Andrejević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute Sten Andrejević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Andrejević in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Porto came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Andrejević in the 77th minute of play. Zézinho Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Andrejević, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Andrejević in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zézinho Simões saved MarquinhosEC from getting behind. ROSÁRIO SPORT made a substitution. Tony Dionísio replaced Sigvard Rosendal. In the 88th minute, Curt Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Andrejević in the 89th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Zézinho Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Sten Andrejević reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zézinho Simões. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Zézinho Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
