Ismael Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Braga's zone, Ernani Baiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Adán came out of the goal and Ernani Baiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Baiano in the 17th minute of the match. Antonio Adán was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Ernani Baiano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernani Baiano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ismael Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 29th minute of play. When André Jordão came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Jordão couldn't finish the play. Crisólia FBPA's Ismael Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Jordão in the 40th minute of play. Antonio Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernani Baiano to make the kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Jon-Egil Sætre commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Jon-Egil Sætre kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Rony Félix was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. SC Braga made a substitution. It was a well-played corner which Lu Xun Lei managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Crisólia FBPA's Lucas Beltran was substituted for Ernani Baiano. The throw-in from Rodriguinho Diniz in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Braga's Lu Xun Lei. SC Braga's Antonio Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Beltran in the 87th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Mattsson came free, but Ismael Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SC Braga players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Crisólia FBPA from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
