Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zigmantas Gimbutas started the match with the kick off. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curt Montes in the 3rd minute of the match. Pipis Dilberis kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 12 minutes of play, MarquinhosEC's Florin Susara made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Adán was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 15 minutes, Zigmantas Gimbutas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Braga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zigmantas Gimbutas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Curt Montes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MarquinhosEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Freitas came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Braga's Antonio Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Meertens in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Braga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florin Susara was slow to take the kick. During this time MarquinhosEC's players had a chance to rest. Zigmantas Gimbutas took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zézinho Simões. Zézinho Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Zézinho Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quintino Carvalhais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inácio Freitas to strike the kick off in the second half. Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curt Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Quintino Carvalhais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zézinho Simões. MarquinhosEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quintino Carvalhais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. SC Braga made a substitution. Valdomiro Lira replaced Gastão Veiga. 59 minutes into the match, Curt Montes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonio Adán, 2-4. MarquinhosEC's Horácio Vides was substituted for Mark Kovalev. SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson was substituted for Zigmantas Gimbutas. In the 67th minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SC Braga's Antonio Adán got control of the ball when Michael Meertens tried to sneak it across the goal line.
