An unexpectedly hard shot by Leysus Oktavianus in the 2nd minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Leysus Oktavianus came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Tello in the 17th minute of the match. Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute Aaron Tello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Matanza and Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Braga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matanza and Steelers were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zigmantas Gimbutas made a kick off. After 50 minutes of play, Matanza and Steelers's Leysus Oktavianus made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Adán was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Marvin Salamanca notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of SC Braga's Antonio Adán. Antonio Adán was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Braga made a substitution. Valdomiro Lira replaced Gastão Veiga. SC Braga's Donato Sampaio was substituted for Quintino Carvalhais. Renan Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 72nd minute of play. Antonio Adán made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Marvin Salamanca sent off a good shot on target. SC Braga's Antonio Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leysus Oktavianus in the 77th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marvin Salamanca. In the 94th minute, Matanza and Steelers's Marvin Salamanca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Adán. Antonio Adán yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The Matanza and Steelers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
