The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

SC Braga's Valdomiro Lira was substituted for Gastão Veiga. The wind increased when 狄昆傲 made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for E.C. Galera. 狄昆傲 stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Antonio Adán. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Braga players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for E.C. Galera.
