After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szczepan Kempka in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leon Piekarczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hegedus Henrik charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hegedus Henrik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Astra Krotoszyn's Bogumil Zakrzewski was substituted for Tobiasz Blicharz. In the 86th minute, Hegedus Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 87 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Leon Piekarczyk managed to make a qualified save. Astra Krotoszyn's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Komornicki in the 90th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Piekarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Piekarczyk having to interfere.
