Leon Piekarczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 8th minute of play forced Astra Krotoszyn's goalkeeper Leon Piekarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Piekarczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 11th minute of play. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Piekarczyk having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Astra Krotoszyn's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Piekarczyk came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astra Krotoszyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 38 minutes into the game, Maurice Scherens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astra Krotoszyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Astra Krotoszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurice Scherens to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Takacs Tibor in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Leon Piekarczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 77th minute. Franciszek Komornicki kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Astra Krotoszyn's Tobiasz Blicharz got a free kick in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Astra Krotoszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Leon Piekarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
