Alessandro Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ensar Taşdan in the 19th minute of play. KOGUCIKI's Wiktor Kaczmarek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save KOGUCIKI from getting a goal against them. Edvard Slæggerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Wiktor Kaczmarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ensar Taşdan in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Edvard Slæggerup could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Wiktor Kaczmarek however easily saved by the left post. The corner led Gabbro FC's Gustavo Piearres to fire away a dangerous shot which Wiktor Kaczmarek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Ensar Taşdan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wiktor Kaczmarek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Slæggerup in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

A collision led to KOGUCIKI getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Cornelio Osoitz hit a great ball. Alessandro Mancinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Haskiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Jaap Stam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-0 became the score in the 64th minute when Edvard Slæggerup elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Edvard Slæggerup blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiktor Kaczmarek having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Slæggerup in the 71st minute of play forced KOGUCIKI's goalkeeper Wiktor Kaczmarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, KOGUCIKI's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Slæggerup came free, but Wiktor Kaczmarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvard Slæggerup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvard Slæggerup charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvard Slæggerup the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edvard Slæggerup kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Gabbro FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
