A sloppy throw-in by Eugenio Casadei in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fc Urva United's Joel Lember. When Edgar Randoja came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Fc Urva United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Randoja couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Etxeberri hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Edvard Slæggerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 29th minute, Edgar Randoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Mancinelli made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Antonio Navarro sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Etxeberri during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Randoja made a kick off. Fc Urva United's Ülo Rist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eugenio Casadei in the 57 minute of the game. Tõnu Ainola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Langsford in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Antonio Ciraci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabbro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Ciraci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tõnu Ainola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
