EL FIRULETE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gabbro FC the free kick. After 11 played minutes EL FIRULETE got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Corderall. Jimeno Berdoi struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alessandro Mancinelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL FIRULETE. In the 19th minute, Cemil Tanacan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Berdoi in the 21st minute of play forced Gabbro FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Mancinelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermengildo Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Slæggerup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Berdoi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Jimeno Berdoi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alessandro Mancinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd of the match, Jimeno Berdoi tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Alessandro Mancinelli got in the way and made a wonderful save. After 38 played minutes EL FIRULETE got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Pelayo. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL FIRULETE's goalkeeper Hermengildo Fiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by EL FIRULETE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wieslaw Wawro was slow to take the kick. During this time Gabbro FC's players had a chance to rest. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

EL FIRULETE's Hermengildo Fiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save EL FIRULETE from getting a goal against them. Jimeno Berdoi scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessandro Mancinelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alessandro Mancinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kader Wing in the 73rd minute of the match. Fabio Ubelteso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Gaston Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the EL FIRULETE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Alfonso couldn't finish the play.
