After a rather tough play, EL FIRULETE's Christian Wood got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Berdoi in the 13th minute of play forced MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Leonard Olejasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Janusz Lamczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Fiz having to interfere. In the 19th minute Janusz Lamczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Fiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL FIRULETE's Hermengildo Fiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Lamczyk in the 27th minute of play. Hermengildo Fiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Lamczyk in the 35th minute of the match. Boruc Gotfryd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Fiz having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Berdoi came free, but Leonard Olejasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Niewiadomski kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, EL FIRULETE's Hermengildo Fiz got control of the ball when Lukasz Tuliszewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Berdoi got free with Leonard Olejasz in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santiago Haitz was slow to take the kick. During this time EL FIRULETE's players had a chance to rest. Santiago Haitz made a great header on EL FIRULETE's corner, it was just that MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Leonard Olejasz managed to reach the ball for a save. Leonard Olejasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Berdoi in the 57th minute of play. EL FIRULETE made a substitution. Kader Wing replaced Christian Wood. Norberto Endura made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vicente Pelayo. Janusz Lamczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vicente Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute Gaston Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Olejasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jimeno Berdoi came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the EL FIRULETE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Berdoi couldn't finish the play. Tomas Taurino lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of EL FIRULETE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec:s goal. Hermengildo Fiz had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Janusz Lamczyk's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 96 minutes of play, MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Janusz Lamczyk made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermengildo Fiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec had won after a very even match.
