Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Newells Old Boys's Kenny N'Diaye started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Jerome Canning managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Newells Old Boys's Kenny N'Diaye fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 8th minute, Tim Hurren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yalçın Erensoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Yalçın Erensoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stan English, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Yalçın Erensoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Hurren in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Tim Hurren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yalçın Erensoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Hurren took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yalçın Erensoy. Yalçın Erensoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stan English in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yalçın Erensoy saved Newells Old Boys from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Tim Hurren notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Newells Old Boys's Yalçın Erensoy. Yalçın Erensoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kenny N'Diaye kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Yalçın Erensoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stan English went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Hurren to make the kick off. Dirk Kuijt hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Newells Old Boys's Yalçın Erensoy got control of the ball when Tim Hurren tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Dirk Kuijt in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Witney City's Mark Timmins. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan English in the 55th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Yalçın Erensoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes in the game, Stan English fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Yalçın Erensoy having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Stan English came free, but Yalçın Erensoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Stan English made a precise shot to the right of Yalçın Erensoy. Newells Old Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After some careless play in the Newells Old Boys defense, Stan English kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yalçın Erensoy. The Newells Old Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yalçın Erensoy should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Witney City booed when Newells Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Başaran Tuncay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Yalçın Erensoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim Hurren. A collision led to Newells Old Boys getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Babür Hamurcu hit a great ball. Witney City's Stan English got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yalçın Erensoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stan English, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Stan English shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yalçın Erensoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stan English recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Lokman Sağlamtürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newells Old Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Witney City the free kick. The supporters of Newells Old Boys booed when Witney City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chesney Barratt didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Newells Old Boys's Yalçın Erensoy got control of the ball when Tim Hurren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Witney City's Tim Hurren fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Witney City's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny N'Diaye came free, but Jerome Canning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Hulki Zaid notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Witney City's Jerome Canning. Jerome Canning was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Witney City played a much better game than Newells Old Boys and deserved their victory. The Newells Old Boys players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
