The Witney City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Witney City's Ashley Thomas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gergely Koczka in the 31 minute of the game. In the 39th minute Mátyás Pál shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Bond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witney City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Mátyás Gelencsér scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Bond, making the score, 1-1. 45 minutes into the game, Gergely Koczka threw the ball into play from the sideline. Witney City's Ashley Thomas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mátyás Gelencsér made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, one of Witney City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tommy Bond had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Mátyás Gelencsér's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ashley Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Veresi Új Generáció booed when Witney City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ashley Thomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Veresi Új Generáció's Hauk Almli broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Witney City's attentive Ashley Thomas managed to snatch the ball when Gergely Koczka made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. Witney City were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Veresi Új Generáció to leave the ground with a draw.
