Basilio Silbestre struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Emil Şandru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★. In the 5th minute, Aristide Cordescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Basilio Silbestre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Şandru was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Emil Şandru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Silbestre's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Paulo Milian got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Daniel Ştercă quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Teodor Stan, made in the 12th minute of the game. Teodor Stan made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pompiliu Iureș however managed to control. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★. Paulo Milian stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emil Şandru. 0-1. Emil Şandru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Silbestre in the 26th minute of play. Emil Şandru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Normando in the 27th minute of the match. Emil Şandru came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Basilio Silbestre. But to his dismay, Basilio Silbestre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Silbestre in the 32nd minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Emil Şandru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Cezar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Froilan Jacob skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Basilio Silbestre in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Progresul Pitesti's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute, Basilio Silbestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Şandru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 41 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Silbestre came free, but Emil Şandru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Basilio Silbestre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Şandru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 46th minute, Basilio Silbestre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dragoş Oloieru was the one to do the kick off. Dragoş Oloieru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Jacob having to interfere. Emil Şandru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Emil Şandru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Silbestre in the 64th minute of the match. When ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Basilio Silbestre in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Progresul Pitesti's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the match, ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Basilio Silbestre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Şandru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Froilan Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Caranică in the 75th minute of play. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ made a substitution. Flavio Rey replaced Ezequiel Maldonado. In the 84th minute, Tomasz Bulkiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emil Şandru. The goal made the score 0-6. With a little luck, Progresul Pitesti's Emil Şandru got control of the ball when Paulo Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomasz Bulkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Karol Antoszewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Emil Şandru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Tomasz Bulkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomasz Bulkiewicz couldn't finish the play. Teodor Stan made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s Esteban Ubendu. ★ Łα ¢αηтєяα ∂єℓ ρσятσ ★'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
