Bert Paelinck kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Nechifor Mărculescu's late challenge caught a La masia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nechifor Mărculescu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Progresul Pitesti getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Nechifor Mărculescu hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Olgierd Wozniak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Şandru was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. With a little luck, La masia's Luk Van Boeckost got control of the ball when Dragoş Oloieru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emil Şandru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Wozniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Emil Şandru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olgierd Wozniak's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Horia Caranică hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Emil Şandru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Olgierd Wozniak scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Şandru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24thth minute of the game Brend Turpin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progresul Pitesti's Emil Şandru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La masia's zone, Pompiliu Iureș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luk Van Boeckost came out of the goal and Pompiliu Iureș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 played minutes La masia got a freekick which was hit by Corneel Deckers. 41 minutes into the match, Dragoş Oloieru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luk Van Boeckost, 1-2. Emil Şandru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Wozniak in the 46th minute of play. Emil Şandru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Wozniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Olgierd Wozniak made the kick off in the second half. Emil Şandru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olgierd Wozniak's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Oloieru in the 59th minute of play forced La masia's goalkeeper Luk Van Boeckost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luk Van Boeckost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Oloieru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Progresul Pitesti's Dragoş Oloieru got a free kick in the 68th minute. Olgierd Wozniak in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Şandru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 82 minutes, Dragoş Oloieru made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. La masia's Luk Van Boeckost tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, La masia's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Caranică came free, but Luk Van Boeckost reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La masia's Jan-Pieter Haelemans got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The La masia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Progresul Pitesti from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
