Magic is Back's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Potente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikolay Ikonomov didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Magic is Back's Osvaldo Potente shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 13 minutes, Osvaldo Potente made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Old Dogs United's Nikolay Ikonomov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Osvaldo Potente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the game, Gabi Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nikolay Ikonomov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruben Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Jonsson in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Magic is Back getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marco Mateo hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Magic is Back was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Rogel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Vangel Madov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Old Dogs United's supporters rose to their feet, but Vangel Madov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Sánchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 minutes of play, Magic is Back's Osvaldo Potente made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikolay Ikonomov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Gabi Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Nikolay Ikonomov. FC Old Dogs United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. A collision led to Magic is Back getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Roland Schiavi hit a great ball. Tzocho Lyapchev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ruben Sánchez made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Gabi Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. When Antonio Di Fabrizio fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Old Dogs United's protests and gave Antonio Di Fabrizio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 50th minute, Antonio Di Fabrizio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 51 minutes into the game, Gabi Batistuta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nikolay Ikonomov. Gabi Batistuta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Nikolay Ikonomov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Potente in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Magic is Back booed when FC Old Dogs United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radul Kitzov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Old Dogs United's Radul Kitzov got a free kick in the 57th minute. FC Old Dogs United's Nikolay Ikonomov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC Old Dogs United from getting a goal against them. Nikolay Ikonomov came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Magic is Back's Osvaldo Potente. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Potente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 67th minute, Tzocho Lyapchev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Sánchez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. The supporters of FC Old Dogs United booed when Magic is Back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabi Batistuta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Potente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolay Ikonomov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Magic is Back was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Marangoni to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Potente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Magic is Back supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Magic is Back would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
