Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zbyszko Pozorski kicked off to start the match. After 14 minutes, Jeremias Amaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roja Directa and the Slovakia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Roja Directa getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jeremias Amaya hit a great ball. Zbyszko Pozorski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrich Slany read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slavomil Hosnedl couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Zbyszko Pozorski took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Henrich Slany to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metod Mlynar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Baltasar Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Rogelio Aimar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbyszko Pozorski scored 6-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrich Slany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Rogelio Aimar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Luis Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Slavomil Hosnedl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrich Slany stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Suarez's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The supporters of Roja Directa booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornel Jahoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Osorio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Roja Directa had played much better football throughout.
