Samuel Demicoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee showed George Pullicino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Abela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andre Fava kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Joaquin Phoenix managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Templars FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 77thth minute of the game Kurt Abdilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swatar United FC's Michele Doublet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacob Mahoney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neil Micallef hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jake Pullicino Orlando hit a great ball. Jacob Mahoney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Demicoli having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Martin Manicolo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Michele Doublet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Templars FC had won after a very even match.
