Jake Cesareo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Swatar United FC booed when Calciatori FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jake Cesareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Kurt Francalanza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charles Pace skillfully saved the ball. Calciatori FC's Neil Sultana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kurt Francalanza, made in the 19th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Sean Fsadni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michele Doublet was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Sean Fsadni in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Abela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrea Caruana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Michele Doublet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sean Fsadni's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Michele Doublet on his right side and into the goal. 80 minutes into the game it was 1-0. After 84 minutes, Antonio Xerri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calciatori FC and the Swatar United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Calciatori FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Xerri. 89 minutes into the game, Andrea Caruana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Michele Doublet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michele Doublet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Caruana in the 92nd minute of play.
