With a little luck, Calciatori FC's Charles Pace got control of the ball when Amadeo Darmanin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Meerkats FC's Bernard Degabriele slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charles Pace. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Amadeo Darmanin could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Charles Pace however easily saved by the left post. Vincent Callus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Charles Pace made a huge save. Robert Portanier kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sean Fsadni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calciatori FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sean Fsadni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Hansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sean Fsadni was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Fredric Hansson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute, Clint Schembri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Pace showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Degabriele, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Fredric Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Caruana in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Christopher Bugelli got a free kick in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Meerkats FC had won after a very even match.
