In the 13th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garip Osmanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yenimahallegücü's Garip Osmanoğlu. Garip Osmanoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. Qian Kuan scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 33 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qian Kuan in the 35th minute. Yenimahallegücü:s Garip Osmanoğlu showed great skill when he stopped Chris Nygaard:s penalty. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qian Kuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kudret Güngör in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kudret Güngör's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. After some careless play in the Yenimahallegücü defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garip Osmanoğlu. The Yenimahallegücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garip Osmanoğlu should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute of the match Şahin Kamber shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Qian Kuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot.
