An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Lico in the 34th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Salvatore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Lico in the 37th minute. Rene Luzea kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Maximo Lico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melquiades Salvatore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximo Lico showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bonifacio Fraco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remigio Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Bastian came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Fraco in the 81st minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bonifacio Fraco came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Monte Hermoso Beach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Fraco couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes, Monte Hermoso Beach's Bonifacio Fraco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monte Hermoso Beach reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorio Bastian in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Salvatore saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Club Atlético Atlanta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
