MINEIROS's Wenceslao Taffarel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Melquiades Gaztea but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet as MINEIROS's Joel Quadros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melquiades Gaztea. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. When Wenceslao Taffarel came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the MINEIROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wenceslao Taffarel couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by Christian Fernandes. Benê Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Gaztea having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Eudoxio came free, but Serginho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serginho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Eudoxio in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Melquiades Gaztea got control of the ball when Maicon Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Quadros in the 33rd minute of play forced 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s goalkeeper Melquiades Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Vasco to maneuver through the defense. Juan Zanette came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melquiades Gaztea could save by the left post. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Joel Quadros scored to the left of an out of position Melquiades Gaztea, making the score, 2-0. In the 41st minute of the match, Joel Quadros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melquiades Gaztea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 44th match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Quadros to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Eudoxio to strike the kick off in the second half. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Melquiades Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Goiano in the 53rd minute of play. When Toninho Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the MINEIROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Goiano couldn't finish the play. Donato Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Melquiades Gaztea didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MINEIROS's Toninho Goiano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toninho Goiano during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. MINEIROS's Vágner Gaspar was substituted for Juan Zanette. The supporters of 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ booed when MINEIROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Maicon Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Gaztea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Quadros in the 72nd minute of play. Toninho Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serginho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Cordareo in the 75th minute of the match. Joel Quadros struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Melquiades Gaztea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MINEIROS. Aristides Balesio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Erasmo Velasco hit a great ball. Melquiades Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Goiano in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Maicon Quintal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MINEIROS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Maicon Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Maicon Quintal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Gaztea. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maicon Quintal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Nilson de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Gaztea having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Joel Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Gaztea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match MINEIROS got a corner. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wenceslao Taffarel ran over to the corner to take the kick.
