Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stasio Zacharzewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vavrinec Holub. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stasio Zacharzewski ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the game, Stasio Zacharzewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub. Stasio Zacharzewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Beninda came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Lanczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Stasio Zacharzewski notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stasio Zacharzewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Beninda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Zacharzewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Legia Krosno's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stasio Zacharzewski in the 51st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Czech Republic's goalie and right to Marian Mazierski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Czech Republic's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Beninda in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Aleksander Beninda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Stasio Zacharzewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Beninda in the 65th minute of the match. Korneliusz Buczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Jilek's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes, Borys Lanczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legia Krosno and the Czech Republic players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Legia Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Borys Lanczak. In the 70th minute, Borys Lanczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kvetoslav Janku to maneuver through the defense. When David Rusil fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave David Rusil a yellow card for diving instead. David Rusil kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Zacharzewski in the 80th minute of play. Marian Mazierski struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legia Krosno. After 85 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Denis Dostal. After 88 minutes Czech Republic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stasio Zacharzewski who took care of the corner kick. In the 89th minute of the match Legia Krosno got a corner. Czech Republic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stasio Zacharzewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 93rd minute, Borys Lanczak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legia Krosno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There was no doubt that Legia Krosno were the better team. Legia Krosno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
