After 26 played minutes, AVANTUL PETRICANI's Jan-Willem Adams shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AVANTUL PETRICANI reached it. A collision led to FC Alinborger getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ion Moscu was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Tití Turbatu notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ion Moscu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeu Moraes having to make a save.
