An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Koopmans in the 15th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Aleksandr Vasyutin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilco Willemse in the 18th minute of play forced ASV Muziekwijk's goalkeeper Tommy de Zeeuw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Revenge's Lennart de Boer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy de Zeeuw in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 22 played minutes Revenge got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik-Jan Daamen. Wim Oosterman struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Aleksandr Vasyutin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASV Muziekwijk. With a little luck, Revenge's Aleksandr Vasyutin got control of the ball when Godfried Dost tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, ASV Muziekwijk's Oliver Bot made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksandr Vasyutin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Billy van Loen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A nice corner shot did that Lennart de Boer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy de Zeeuw quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ASV Muziekwijk's Oliver Bot got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Revenge defense, Oliver Bot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksandr Vasyutin. The Revenge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksandr Vasyutin should have stopped the shot. ASV Muziekwijk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
