After a defensive mix-up in Revenge's zone, Sjaak Degens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksandr Vasyutin came out of the goal and Sjaak Degens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodas Justo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Revenge got a freekick which was hit by Rodas Justo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
