Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antal Valentin made the kick off which started today's match. Alf Tempel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 3rd minute of the match. If Tommy Bongartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alf Tempel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Tempel having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Hagedorn in the 25th minute. Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 31st minute of play. Alf Tempel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes Rapid Wien's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. 41 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Dommröse came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Tempel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Rapid Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Alf Tempel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rapid Wien's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Alf Tempel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Hagedorn to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Hagedorn in the 61st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Alf Tempel made a huge save. In the 64th minute Robin Dommröse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Kraft in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Major Barna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alf Tempel. The goal made the score 1-3. Antal Valentin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Alf Tempel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Hagedorn in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Tommy Bongartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rapid Wien's Sergio Skoczylas was substituted for Robin Dommröse. Tommy Bongartz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Sergio Skoczylas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alf Tempel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rapid Wien throughout the match.
