Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Albert Kraft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Kraft in the 8th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rapid Wien's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mirco Kähler in the 12th minute. Rapid Wien's Mirco Kähler was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alf Tempel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Andreas Olejarz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Rapid Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Alf Tempel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Robin Dommröse fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Kraft came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Valentin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alf Tempel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Katona Janos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rapid Wien's Mirco Kähler got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robin Dommröse's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Alf Tempel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 51 minutes Rapid Wien's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Boros Benedek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel did a great save. In the 56th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alf Tempel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid Wien's zone, Takacs Tibor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Tempel came out of the goal and Takacs Tibor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Dommröse in the 60th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rapid Wien's Lars Reicher was substituted for Andreas Olejarz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Hagedorn in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mirco Kähler who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 73 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Hagedorn in the 78th minute of play. Albert Kraft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Hagedorn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Wien's Albert Kraft. But to his dismay, Albert Kraft quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 90th minute Sergio Skoczylas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Rapid Wien were awarded a corner. Mirco Kähler went to the cornerflag to take it. If Daniel Hagedorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alf Tempel. Rapid Wien's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
