The ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Atilano Etxepare looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Federico Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Marcones in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ got a corner. Trapiche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stelian Moisil ran over to the corner to take the kick. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Stelian Moisil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Federico Fe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 22nd minute Atilano Etxepare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigore Dijmărescu made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Juan Ramalho sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ramalho came free, but Grigore Dijmărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Trapiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Osasun to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Ricardo Bernat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Osasun came free, but Grigore Dijmărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Grigore Dijmărescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Txordon in the 32nd minute of play. Ramiro Txordon succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. When ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Ricardo Bernat in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hugo Itzaina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Grigore Dijmărescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Federico Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Etxepare's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Etxepare came free, but Federico Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Moisil to maneuver through the defense. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Grigore Dijmărescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Lertxun in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Ramalho made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Foster Brennan in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Fe saved Trapiche from getting behind. In the 60th minute Ricardo Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigore Dijmărescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Txordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Foster Brennan in the 64th minute of play. Federico Fe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Bernat in the 65th minute. Grigore Dijmărescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Txordon in the 71st minute of the match. Federico Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Foster Brennan's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Foster Brennan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Fe was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Bernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Atilano Etxepare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trapiche's Federico Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Etxepare in the 79th minute of play. Hugo Itzaina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rupert Longden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Atilano Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Etxepare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Fe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trapiche's Federico Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foster Brennan in the 89th minute of play. Saverio Osasun took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigore Dijmărescu. Grigore Dijmărescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Trapiche getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ramiro Txordon hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
