Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kléber Cavalcante got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Legion Etrangere's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Cavalcante came free, but Cyryl Chazen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Priidu Kluge hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Cyryl Chazen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Legion Etrangere's Tiago Godoi threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Usub Saia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Kléber Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the São Paulo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléber Cavalcante couldn't finish the play. A collision led to São Paulo F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Geovani Coutinho hit a great ball. Kléber Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Attila Keserű hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, São Paulo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romildo Pratti to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Berggren, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Legion Etrangere's Cyryl Chazen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Cavalcante in the 24th minute of play. Cyryl Chazen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Cavalcante in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Kléber Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Chazen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the São Paulo F.C. defense, Usub Saia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Godoi. The São Paulo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Godoi should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Legion Etrangere's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Lago came free, but Cyryl Chazen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, São Paulo F.C.'s Murillo Cordeiro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Usub Saia was the one to do the kick off. Legion Etrangere's Cyryl Chazen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Cavalcante in the 51st minute of play. Cyryl Chazen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kléber Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Cyryl Chazen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo F.C.. After having played for 60 minutes, Jens Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legion Etrangere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens Berggren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murillo Cordeiro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. São Paulo F.C. made a substitution. Wanderson Melo replaced Buba Seco. São Paulo F.C.'s Yaya Sow was substituted for Vito Travassos. Kléber Cavalcante took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cyryl Chazen. Cyryl Chazen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Legion Etrangere made a substitution. Kaspar Leinatamm replaced Toivo Lipp. Legion Etrangere's Cyryl Chazen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Cavalcante in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes Legion Etrangere's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yaya Sow who took care of the corner kick. The São Paulo F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when São Paulo F.C.'s Geovani Coutinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Dirk Snabl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Legion Etrangere's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Coutinho came free, but Cyryl Chazen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. São Paulo F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
