Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dumitru Aldulescu started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s zone, Leontin Zdrehuş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelian Platon came out of the goal and Leontin Zdrehuş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stelian Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Pitiș in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Steaua Somcuta MM's Panait Unciuleanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stelian Platon. Stelian Platon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 20 minutes, Gheorghe Manu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- and the Steaua Somcuta MM players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gheorghe Manu hit a great ball. Steaua Somcuta MM's Iacob Prisecaru shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stelian Platon but with some difficulty. In the 22nd minute Felix Tremurici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gheorghe Manu hit a great ball. Stelian Platon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panait Unciuleanu in the 26th minute. Octavian Horia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Matei Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, George Pitiș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stelian Platon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 36th minute George Pitiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Panait Unciuleanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stelian Platon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Panait Unciuleanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Stelian Platon made a huge save. After 39 played minutes C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Manu. Stelian Platon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dacian Săvulescu in the 43rd minute. Rareș Barascu's late challenge caught a Steaua Somcuta MM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rareș Barascu helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Barascu. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Pitiș to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Panait Unciuleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stelian Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Pitiș in the 53rd minute of the match. Felix Tremurici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Matei Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Octavian Horia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when George Pitiș came free, but Stelian Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Panait Unciuleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes of play, Steaua Somcuta MM's George Pitiș made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelian Platon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stelian Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Unciuleanu in the 74th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Panait Unciuleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelian Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, George Pitiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, George Pitiș made a precise shot to the right of Stelian Platon. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Matei Rotariu had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Dumitru Aldulescu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 88 minutes into the game, Steaua Somcuta MM's Dacian Săvulescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stelian Platon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Stelian Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Unciuleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Steaua Somcuta MM fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
