George Pitiș started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Steaua Somcuta MM booed when REPUBLICII -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Ulici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Unciuleanu in the 4th minute of play. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem went to the wrong direction when Iacob Prisecaru was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 9 played minutes Steaua Somcuta MM got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Ţopescu. Matei Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Curteanu in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Dacian Săvulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of REPUBLICII -MM- booed when Steaua Somcuta MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Prisecaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes, Leontin Curteanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REPUBLICII -MM- and the Steaua Somcuta MM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leontin Curteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Săvulescu in the 20th minute of play forced REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Curteanu in the 21st minute of the match. Corneliu Ulici kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Pitiș in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Sergiu Stegaru got a free kick in the 26th minute. REPUBLICII -MM-'s Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Pitiș in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to REPUBLICII -MM- getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Loukas Chatzipetrou hit a great ball. REPUBLICII -MM-'s Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Pitiș in the 32nd minute of play. Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Chira in the 35th minute of play. Albert Gherdan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matei Rotariu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 38th match minute, REPUBLICII -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukas Chatzipetrou to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th match minute, Steaua Somcuta MM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Săvulescu to maneuver through the defense. Corneliu Ulici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelian Chira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. REPUBLICII -MM-'s Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Pitiș in the 44th minute of play. The REPUBLICII -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Steaua Somcuta MM were winning 0-1.

54 minutes into the match, Albert Gherdan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Steaua Somcuta MM's Matei Rotariu. Matei Rotariu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 60 minutes of play, REPUBLICII -MM-'s Albert Gherdan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matei Rotariu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to REPUBLICII -MM- getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leontin Curteanu hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Steaua Somcuta MM's Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from George Pitiș, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 74 minutes into the match, REPUBLICII -MM-'s goalkeeper Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dacian Săvulescu. Dacian Săvulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem made a huge save. Gheorghe Ţopescu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Leontin Curteanu took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Rotariu. Matei Rotariu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Dacian Săvulescu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Steaua Somcuta MM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dacian Săvulescu couldn't finish the play. With 86 minutes on the clock, Nichifor Carp commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for REPUBLICII -MM-! When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, Steaua Somcuta MM's Iacob Prisecaru got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem. If Albert Gherdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Pitiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gündüz Yöntem having to interfere. Many of Steaua Somcuta MM's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Steaua Somcuta MM may have spent more time on the ball, but REPUBLICII -MM- were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
