The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Drumeș during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Veveritele Ucigase -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Drumeș. Virgil Macovei made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Albert Gherdan sent off a good shot on target. Leontin Curteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Virgil Macovei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s goalkeeper Virgil Macovei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Gherdan. When REPUBLICII -MM-'s Leontin Curteanu in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s Virgil Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Curteanu in the 38th minute of play. REPUBLICII -MM-'s Leontin Curteanu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Albert Gherdan scored 4-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgil Macovei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rareș Hârtopanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Veveritele Ucigase -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Vişan to maneuver through the defense. Albert Gherdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Albert Gherdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. REPUBLICII -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Gherdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgil Macovei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leontin Curteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Andriescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Albert Gherdan came free, but Virgil Macovei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leontin Curteanu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgil Macovei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tiberiu Vişan fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s protests and gave Tiberiu Vişan a yellow card for diving instead. Mugurel Manafu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Albert Gherdan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgil Macovei having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leontin Curteanu in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgil Macovei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Leontin Curteanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REPUBLICII -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 82nd match minute, Veveritele Ucigase -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Ignea to maneuver through the defense. REPUBLICII -MM-'s attack was well implemented in the 85th minute, but when Leontin Curteanu was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The REPUBLICII -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when REPUBLICII -MM-'s Leontin Curteanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leontin Curteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. REPUBLICII -MM- fully deserved thier win.
