Manole Berca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Macovei having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, George Pitiș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steaua Somcuta MM's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Pitiș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steaua Somcuta MM's Isac Ipătescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Vişan in the 25th minute of play. George Pitiș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgil Macovei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Virgil Macovei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Berca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manole Berca struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Virgil Macovei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua Somcuta MM. Virgil Macovei came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua Somcuta MM's Manole Berca. But to his dismay, Manole Berca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Veveritele Ucigase -MM-'s Virgil Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Pitiș in the 42nd minute of play. Virgil Macovei was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Dacian Săvulescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isac Ipătescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Hârtopanu in the 71st minute of the match. Virgil Macovei made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Manole Berca sent off a good shot on target. After 74 played minutes Steaua Somcuta MM got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Predoiu. In the 75th minute, Rareș Hârtopanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgil Macovei stood somewhat misplaced when Manole Berca came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 82 minute. After 92 played minutes Veveritele Ucigase -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Vişan. Virgil Macovei made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Manole Berca sent off a good shot on target. The Veveritele Ucigase -MM- fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Steaua Somcuta MM were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
