In the 24th minute Gigi Pacurar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsigmond Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baia Mare -MM- got a corner. AFC Prunis MM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. George Buzoianu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 70 minutes, Pavel Dordea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Baia Mare -MM- and the AFC Prunis MM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pavel Dordea kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Mihele during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zsigmond Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Cumpan, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Buzoianu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AFC Prunis MM's Sergiu Urdea got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the AFC Prunis MM players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
