In the 6th minute, La Scaloneta's Apolo Aurken dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when Defensores de Belén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco van Basten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Freddy Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Atom came free, but Albano Bemabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Venceslao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Taurino made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Freddy Sarracino immediately put the ball in play. Ambrosio Sergi's shot from long distance in the 54th minute was not bad at all, but La Scaloneta's Albano Bemabe knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Justino Elivareo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apolo Aurken went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the game, Valentin Taurino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Defensores de Belén's Paolo Errapel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Justino Elivareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Aurken in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosendo Sasoin in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Elivareo saved Defensores de Belén from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Venceslao in the 92nd minute of play forced Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper Justino Elivareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Aurken, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Scaloneta had played much better football throughout.
