In the 16th minute Thomas Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zuberbühler FC's Florentino Lastur in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newcastle United's goalie prevented a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Florentino Lastur notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk. Mikolaj Jerzyk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32ndth minute of the game Florentino Lastur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Lastur in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Jerzyk saved Newcastle United from getting behind. After some careless play in the Zuberbühler FC defense, Thomas Vollmar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis. The Zuberbühler FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Napoleon Dziedelonis should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes, Abelardo Nardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zuberbühler FC and the Newcastle United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Nardo to maneuver through the defense. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Lastur in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Zuberbühler FC's Iwan Sebzda was substituted for Florentino Lastur. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Baumer in the 53rd minute of play. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwan Sebzda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Zuberbühler FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Napoleon Dziedelonis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Vollmar's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute, Marian Erland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Mikolaj Jerzyk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwan Sebzda in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikolaj Jerzyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Iruinea came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pankracy Malicki in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Napoleon Dziedelonis saved Zuberbühler FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Pankracy Malicki put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis. If Pankracy Malicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwan Sebzda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikolaj Jerzyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Baumer in the 89th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Adam Pacholewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis. Zuberbühler FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Pacholewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After 93 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Malicki. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Marian Erland got a free kick in the 95th minute. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Baumer in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zuberbühler FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Newcastle United.
