After having played for 2 minutes, Augusto Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Destroyers F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KYRA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Wágner Arruda scored to the left of an out of position Marco Jago, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Destroyers F.C.'s 范义明 got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute Augusto Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Jago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, KYRA FC's Santo Nuñez got a free kick in the 20th minute. Caco Secco succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Caco Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Leizarraga hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Marco Jago made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Wilson Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Marco Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Secco in the 33rd minute of play forced KYRA FC's goalkeeper Marco Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Wágner Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Destroyers F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wágner Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Jago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, Caco Secco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Marco Jago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caco Secco made a kick off. Caco Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caco Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Jago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Rosa in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of KYRA FC booed when Destroyers F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Caco Secco sped through KYRA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Jago. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Cordeiro in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Jago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 minutes of play, Destroyers F.C.'s Caco Secco made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Jago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niceto Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nono Contreras having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KYRA FC's Dante Machado got a free kick in the 76th minute. Wilson Rosa took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Jago. Marco Jago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Marco Jago came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Destroyers F.C.'s Caco Secco. But to his dismay, Caco Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Destroyers F.C. fully deserved thier win.
