The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Adam Pacholewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marciano Fagondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Pacholewski in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Pacholewski in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Fagondo saved Tricolor from getting behind. Marciano Fagondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pankracy Malicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikolaj Jerzyk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Tancredo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. 叶平卫 took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikolaj Jerzyk. Mikolaj Jerzyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Tricolor booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Erland didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Vollmar to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when 叶平卫 came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Pstrongowski to maneuver through the defense. If Luis Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Julian Obuchowicz. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tómas Planet in the 90th minute of play. Edgar Lampa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Newcastle United! When the referee ended the match the Tricolor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
